Corrective Exercise
What is Human Corrective Exercise?Corrective Exercise is a technique that uses anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to identify and fix movement compensations and imbalances. It targets the root cause of faulty movement patterns affecting posture, balance, and total-body coordination — then builds a routine combining bodywork from the massage therapist with targeted or total-body exercises to address it.
Who does it help?Anyone whose movement is compromised by imbalance benefits, especially through the feet, knees, and hips, where misalignment puts the most stress on the body. By properly aligning the body to handle the load of everyday movement, corrective exercise reduces the risk of future injury and supports long-term functional health.
What does it feel like?Movement starts to feel lighter and more natural, with less strain on the feet, knees, and hips during everyday activity. Over time, clients notice steadier balance and coordination, and the freedom to move through workouts, activities, and sports they may have had to sit out before.
